The cross member was 125 and the brackets were 43 each. The brackets use the stock GM motor mount. I will post the part number as soon as I get it.
The reason they do not advertise the kit is because it was developed for the E-Rod GM motor and the E-Rod motor is not available according to TLC. There was a 5.3 E-Rod motor and a 6.2 E-Rod motor. (There may have been more but those are the ones that I know about).
Basiclly a 5.3 E-Rod is the same motor as you find in pickups and SUVs, I think. The E-Rod 5.3 was rated at 320 HP

Weird. I just got off the phone with Seth in the parts dept at TLC and he said they were no longer selling these items but he would check with somebody and get back to me in a couple days...

Your post got me pretty excited and I had my credit card out ready to order!

Hopefully it is back for sale!

Well, the parts guy told me that the parts were on the shelf as individual items but not as a kit. he said he would ship today and took all the information. I have my figures crossed.

Regardless of the E-Rod availability, mounts and cross members are universal across all of the LS motors. The computer mounts should work with the GenIV motors. I hope they keep making these parts. Nobody buys them because they aren't advertised.

Yes, I agree. there is nothing different about an E-Rod motor and the 5.3 that we are using.

The GM mount # is 25828247.

I've had the aa motors mounts on my truck for some time...no problems, I dont dd my truck so that might make a difference, but I've not seen much of an issue. Mine have no slop in in regard to moving around, I could see how you might setup up those where you might have too much potential movement (left to right). My engine is a 5.7 but I think the mounts are essentially the same thing...except for the part that bolts to the engine.

I got a shiny new Toyota 16 lb. (1.1 bar) radiator cap sub-assy.

The old FJ60 cap for the cooler running 2F is a 13 lb./ 0.9 bar.

This should buy a few extra degrees of temperature before boiling over if things get real hot.

The crossmember should just bolt into the old crossmember location. I don't know which mount it uses (60,62, or GM)

The engine mounts indexes off of bolt holes on the frame and is then welded. Maybe @bdyer12 can chime in and post a pic or two.

Very nice Gary!

I did not get any details from TLC. The cross member has a flat mount surface, which looks like the FJ62 style tranny mount. However, I know the FJ62 tranny mount does not match the Advance Adapters trans to transfer case mount. The AA adapter uses the 80 - 84 angled tranny mount.
I will mock it up tonight and we will see. I started on the transfer case mount to the 4L60E this weekend.
Cam, I feel like this is a hijack!!!

Hijack away!

I talked to TLC, the designer of the mount, Elgin I think is correct. he said to use the 1985 to 1987 FJ60 mount. I did not realize the FJ60 had changed the mounts for the transmission. Elgin did not realize that there were two different mounts, either.
I looking for the toyota part number for that mount.

You may be able to cut up the metal part of the FJ62 mount and make it work. The AA adapter didn't really like my FJ60 mount and I had to persuade it into working.

Those look like nice pieces. Please post up when you get those motor mounts in. Would love to see how they work with the GM isolators.

Maybe we should buy some before they realize they aren't charging enough.

Didn't catch the price, did you? But, yes, if they're reasonable I'd snap 'em up.

Looks like maybe $100-ish shipped. Just looking at them, it would cost me way more than that in the time and energy, not counting the materials.

The GM mounts are the expensive part.
