Looks like maybe $100-ish shipped. Just looking at them, it would cost me way more than that in the time and energy, not counting the materials.

The GM mounts are the expensive part.

Oh yeah, that's cheap. I'll be calling.

I wisely saved the GM mounts from my junk.

See me scratching my head!

That's the early style 84 and down.

Ahhh. Looks like you'll have to fab the frame brackets. Maybe the stock ones can be trimmed and used for one side of the frame (the later mounts have brackets on both sides of the frame).

The crossmember looks sweet.

@gwalt584 It looks like the crossmember is made to mount to the 62 stock location, further back on the frame, maybe?

Yes, mine mounted about 5" further back from the stock location, and the later 60's had the extra spacer in the transmission.

So for the '84, it will need to move back a good bit. About where those plates are centered under the frame.

The mounts on the later trucks do the same thing.

Thanks for posting pics of those mounts attached. I like. Wonder how hard it would be to cut out my AA's and slip those babies in...:hmm:

I was having the same thoughts. I'll bet if the manifolds were removed and exhaust pulled back, in could fit a cutoff wheel in there. And then the welder!

So are the 85 to 87 FJ60 cross member brackets welded to the inner and outer side of the frame?

If so it makes sense that the TLC cross member end plates protrude on each side of the rail.

The crossmember for the fj62 are further back due to the length of the automatic and they have ears on the inside and outside of the frame on both sides.

Here are some pics of the crossmember removed from a 62, lets see if the measurements compare with the tlc crossmember.
