I exchanged text messages with Eric and he is taking the summer off. He did not convey the party was over though!

I have taken the summer off yes. Mostly have been in the hills...camping full time and enjoying my creation. Thanks for the continued interest

Good to hear you're getting to enjoy your creation! I think a lot of us are looking forward to the continued development of your product. I myself am looking at a way to get into one with 3 kids... Not that we'd all be up stairs. But maybe mom & dad on top the 80 & the kids in an OZTent RV_?_, towing an m101 or equivalent?
I enjoy our current set up, but would like a quicker set up and take down thats more modular...if that's even possible with a family of five
Now that is cool! Would be kick ass either roof mounted or pop top style on an 80.
I'm sure you could buy an old flip pac like that and modify it, if that was ultimately what you wanted.

and I used it on a single camping trip, then I traded the truck.
The new owners have a nice trailer with RTT on it and have decided they prefer that to the pop top. The truck isn't cut, so the top is functioning strictly as a sleeping area.
FWIW, the product is well made and very easy to use. However, the lady and I are both 6'3" and we were not comfortable in it. It's a neat concept, and cutting the top provides additional room to work in the truck, but mama said she'd rather sleep in a ground tent.
We opted for larger windows and a side entry. Additionally, ours had extra "zipper pockets" for dealing with the weather up here in the PNW.
