Anyone gotten one of these lately or know if Eric is still making them? I sent an email to him but have not gotten a reply. I am ready to pull the trigger.
I don't believe so. Think he got out of the game. There was thread somewhere about it.

I would like one of theses also if available. Depending in price too. Be perfect....my storage box's with integrated sleeper in truck For my son and me and the lady up top. Would be cool. Or maybe build a copy.

Added flip up rear window on the drivers side. Waiting on a vinyl wrap of the world to cover it with.

How does that work with your awning?

Thanks is there any kind of frame or is it just off the flat aluminium sheet? I see the cross bars on the roof but not running length ways.

The top has a frame there are pictures in the thread.

The new rear hatch ladder addition will make getting on top much faster

I have had some great memories with this land cruiser. I have driven it 130,000 miles myself, traveled all around, and had even had it listed for sale last week. I had been looking at a 75 Series Troopy to have some fun with while keeping my eyes open for another 80 to build. Really just for the sake of having a different color or dashboard. The 80 is such an amazing platform.

I guess if it’s not broken I shouldn’t replace it. I am a mechanic at heart and sometimes we just want a challenge. I am enjoying all my efforts in replacing small cosmetic parts and just finished my 1st Campteq patch repair.
I figure now I will replace my top and make it semipermanent like a few people have done. I will eventually have a used one for sale and thought I would make a few more if people are interested.
I live in a very seasonal mountain town and I currently have some time on my hand so I thought I would throw it out there.
I am not a super active social media or forum post but here are a few good memories.
