Bug sprayer solar shower... take that to shark tank you got a million dollar idea lol vertically challenged passengers get baby wipe baths.

I think it would work pretty well, I've got my cheap 2 gallon Walmart sprayer and it's lasted about 3 years.

Low tech, no pumping, no electric pump. Just old fashion solar and 5 gallons

I've been tempted to pick up one of the Husqvarna axes but I'm still happy with the Fiskars X15. There are also a couple surplus Swedish Military models floating around that are supposed to be the bomb as per a few MUD guys. Truth is, my needs are below minimal, but I like having stuff...especially stuff that works well and looks good.

Okay, now I can say that axe rocks. First time using it on the trail to cut a 6-8 inch diameter tree on the road, and it was amazing! The guys who where in front of us first said "its green wood, we need a chainsaw". But less than a dozen whacks, cut right through it. The young man was asking "what is that thing?!", showed it to him, so he can get his own. Nice axe, the 26". I got the 13" hatchet yesterday, haven't sharpened it yet.

I wanted to wait a little bit before posting this here. I bought one of these tents recently: Kirkham's Springbar Tent

I got kinda fed up with dome style tents and wanted something old school. I'm pretty sure the design hasn't changed much over the years. The stitching and canvas quality is incredible. The price is a little steep, but they are made here and to order. Very roomy. Hopefully it will last me for the years to come.
I wanted to do a follow-up to my earlier post about the Kirkham's Springbar Tent. After having used this tent for a few seasons, I can say this is easily the best tent I've ever owned. It holds a constant comfortable temp well, and is ideal for the Spring, Fall, and Winter. I've come to the conclusion that Summer camping just plain sucks; it doesn't matter what tent you're in.

The biggest draw back about the tent is that, once broken down, it's not as compact as the lightweight nylon/ripstop tents. There are a lot of pieces to this tent and most of the parts have their own bag. It nickel and dimes your storage. So, if your Cruiser is crammed for space, this may not be the solution for you. That being said, a roof basket would help in this case. As I mentioned in the previous post, this thing is heavy. The tent canvas is only part of the weight. The tent's metal springbar set up is also of considerable heft. I guess this is the price you pay for well made.

Cons aside, this is still the best camping set up I've ever used, short of a camping trailer. I set this tent up at the Christmas party with a flannel tent rug, cushioned cot, table, and buddy heater. The whole set up was perfect. I hadn't had a chance to try this tent out in the rain until that same weekend. The previously mentioned set up made the early rainy morning incredibly cozy. The silicone treated canvas did its job, it kept the inside bone dry and warm. Drying the tent afterwards was a breeze.

If you've got the space, this tent is top notch. I highly recommend it.

I had to return something to REI tonight and they had their annual big returned item sale going. Some stuff looked pretty well used like climbing shoes, but other stuff looked pretty new and nice:

This was in there in great shape for $87. Wish they had two of the 30" single beds for $50 each instead :) Still thinking about buying it:

Exped MegaMat Duo 10 Sleeping Pad

These, which my Wife paid full price for me for Xmas where $30:

Asolo Agent Gv Hiking Shoes - Men's

Lots of good stuff in there. Sale starts at 9:30 AM.

The megamat duo is probably awesome. I wanted the regular size but always missed a sale. I have the rei brand instead and they’re also great. The drawback to the duo that I kept coming across was the amount of time to deflate and the difficulty of packing it up. But for $87 it beats the hell out of an air mattress for the house spare bed.

Good input. Let me know if you want me to pick it up for you? I don't think we can get it - already moving too much and . . .

I was hoping to get two of the wider singles at 30" wide they would be a queen size bed when put together. We also wouldn't have any issues of "you tossed and turned last night" and I could take my single if I was solo vs the larger double.

@Izzyandsue

This is prolly smaller than what you already have, though. The rugs and animal skin blanket may be something new:

Mine has cable, and Wi-Fi. On the matress side, i rather have 2 individual ones, that way we can set the firmness to our liking. Like sleep number bed.

OY! No thank you sir. The days of hiking and camping through the Adirondacks high peaks and the Green Mountains are long gone in my youts. You know what a yout is.
