There should be a few new updates coming soon. I bought a motor someone fairly local rebuilt and have been switching over items as I have time. I’m hoping to have it knocked out and running by next week. I will also have the old motor with a freshly redone head for sale as well.

I am hoping that someone may be able to help me here though. It has depot headlights with three wires coming from the light. It looks like the red and black plug back into the stick harness, but clueless on the white wire. It was spliced in with the intercooler wiring before, but trying to get it wired up since I removed that set up. Any help or input is appreciated.

I didn't every get them to work (trying to remember). I think it's uppose to be triggered when the truck in "on".

Progress……You can in fact remove a 1FZ-FE from an 80 on 37” tires and a 4” lift without dropping the front end or removing the front clip.

Oh how I miss ONSC where there were plenty of people willing to help each other. I’m a one man show down here in Georgia. Now to do some engine bay cleaning, switch a few ports over to the new motor and drop it in. I finally feel like I’m moving along.

Having friends to help, or heckle, makes all the difference for me. I feel you.

I’ve got the motor assembled and ready to drop in. Can anyone tell me what hose goes into the circled nipple under the lower intake? It’s just to the left of where the PHH goes.

@Cornhusker Did you ever figure out where the HG failed? Was it a cracked head?

Does anyone have a picture of this hardline or one laying around?

That should be the throttle body.
The hose I mentioned earlier connects to throttle body on side closer to firewall and the other side connects to short hose next to your arrow.
