Seen that one on, looks nice, I'm just not fond of green. :) As far as brewpubs, McMenamins Pubs has a bunch of unique pubs. I recommend the Kennedy School Pub, and Edgefield, in Troutdale, just a few miles from Portland. There are a ton of others too, I'm sure some others will chime in.

We used, when visiting family in Portland, to a brewery that was downtown. Me thinks it was Pyramid. Old warehouse type building and they served incredible pizza and salads along with great brews. But I don't think its the same venue anymore?

I am sure it's a scam, if not I would buy it for that money if it was a framer.

Googled the vin # JT3HT05J0Y0085398 - Google Search

I sent him an email this morning, waiting for a scam-alam-a ding-dong reply anytime now. I assume it was a real ad at one time, that was harvested by a scammer.

Received this scammer reply, oooohh, she's tugging at my heartstrings with her "loss", darn that Bush! (I guess they need to update their source of discontent...)

Thank you for being interested in buying my 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser, automatic transmission,114,480 miles, VIN:JT3HT05J0Y0085398.It is in EXCELLENT condition; the body and paint are great, no scratches and no dents; the interior is clean; it has never been involved in an accident; the title is clear. The car is located at the shipping company in Miami,FL sealed and ready for the shipping. This was my husband's car,he died in Iraq 3 months ago(Bush needs to tell me why!).Since my husband died I returned to my parents in UK.I need to sell this car there cause it brings me bad memories and anyway, here in UK I it would be difficult for me to drive it.I want to make this transaction through eBay's Vehicle Purchase Program. 1999 Landcruiser

Hi everyone, new to the forum. I'm thinking about buying a 1999 Landcruiser. I have wanted a landcruiser for the past 20 years! It is really clean with low miles. Everything in it is mint and has all the service records. I read on here that some people are saying the 1999 has a weak differential? Is that true?

I was hoping to hold out for a 2003 or 2004 but I can't wait any longer. Is there anything I shoudl be concerned about with getting this 1999? It only has 111,000 on it.

Thank you.

Musky.

I'm hoping to get it for $13,000 grand. It's in my price range and everything on it works. It has the locking center differential and the rear locker. I'm hoping to pick it up this weekend.

They pulled the price off their site. No idea why. He is asking 17,900.

I just took a look at an 03 here in Boise. A guy that is trying to get out from under his payments. He is the second owner. First owner drove it to 57K and had regular maintenance done. It was sold as a certified used in 07. New owner has driven it to 87K. No 90K maintenance and seems like a wait till it breaks kind of guy. In fact, the passenger mirror has been broken "a while".

So 19,000 asking price, needs 90K and passenger mirror. Exterior and interior in "good condition". Car could use a good detail, but no dents or door dings, torn leather, missing trim etc.

I guess I just worry that he couldn't afford the rig (ie maintenance). How much trouble could he have caused in his 30K miles and 24 months?

I don't think he could have done much damage. I'd recommend taking it to "Driven Automotive" in Meridian... the owner Brian has a cruiser and knows them pretty well. I can't believe that car popped up on craigslist like that, just a day after I bought a gray 03' in Texas and had it shipped here! Seems like a good price, especially for a low mile 03'.

Good luck!

Thanks for the shop recommendation. They are going to take a look at it. If they don't find anything too horific, I think I may have caught my unicorn.

Did you end up buying that 03'? I chatted with Brian today for a bit, he said it was pretty clean and just needed a bit to be caught up on maintenance.

I didn't. I just bought a 99 today. Paperwork will take a couple of days, I should take posession Thur or Fri. It was a tough decision, I went back a forth a few times. In the end the 99 was going to be around 5K less. It was in better shape mechanically and cosmetically and had the same miles. Brian seems like a great guy. He went beyond what I was expecting when he inspected the 03. Especially considering it was free. I'm going to call him up tomorrow and set up an appt to take the 99 in.

Congrats! I've known Brian for years, so I may be a bit biased, but he runs a top notch toyota shop. What color is the 99'? I'll wave if I see ya...

Thanks. It's a silver/champagne color. I don't know the name. What does yours look like?

If anybody is looking for an 03 there is one here in Boise for 19k. Pm me for the inspection details.

Got my Landcruiser!! I picked it up on Saturday. The thing is mint! I bought it for $13,300. I'll try and post some pics soon.
