Hey Gado....no lift , oem springs, just over the axle. They'll squat a bit, but not much once the winch and front bumper are on.

Hey Gado, heres a pic of the cruiser profile right before i started tearing it down, SOA is a great way to go!!

Thanks for the comps!! Nothing real new to report, except SHOULD have the rest of the tin back by the end of the week.

Toast,
Awesome workmanship on this build mate, it's a real credit to you.
Are your rear flares welded to the panel only where the pics show? Or are they welded on the underside also?

Would you be comfortable using the flares as a jacking point? Would they be strong enough not to bend/buckle do you think?

Cheers,
Gabe

Thanks Gabe....... the rear quarters are bolted along entire perimeter and inside wheel flare,.........i had no intentions of using it for a lift point, 3/16" thick........they better not!!

Hey man! Just found your build! Very serious looking build with some very nice fabwork! We'll have to make it up into the mountains and do some of the passes sometime in the next summer or two.

Keep up the good work!

Yeah, i saw you two guys 4th of July, right by Eureka.........Are you goin to All4Fun in Salida next year?

All4Fun Hijack

Are you goin to All4Fun in Salida next year?

Sorry for the hijack. What is this All4Fun of which you speak? And where can I get some more details. My inlaws live in Salida and maybe I can coordinate the timing of our annual summer vacation with some wheeling fun.

Are you anticipating having this ready to wheel by Cruise Moab in May? I'm on the fence about going, and the chance to see this beast on the trail could sway me!

Wasn't familiar with the all4Fun so not as of yet... Let me research it a little and I sure wouldn't mind if it would fit into the schedule!:steer:

Ok this is what i have for information from the following hosting website:

Dates for next year’s event will be July 30th through
the 6th of August near Salida, Colorado!

All-4-Fun Home

65swb45........I was anticipating having this complete by Christmas, but thats not going to happen REEEEEEL close but still waiting on my cap, doors, ws frame and hood. Until i have them, i wont measure my shafts and shocks. As for Cruise Moab, its three hours away, you can count on it!!

ccasteel........It a few hundred wheelers of all types that have the same thing in common, havin fun, meeting new poeple and wheelin in beautiful Colorado. each year it takes place in a different town by the hosting organization---Mile High Jeep Club. Open to all who register. I went to this back in 1979 and had a blast, i was a kid but still had a blast.

you can poke around these and get the idea all four fun colorado - Google Search

Finishing up some wiring and ordered all the switches, i'll post up a roll bar mounted custom switch panel build as they come

Still no doors, hood or cap.............i wish i knew how to paint!!! fmf'r

Bent, cut and welded this 16gauge switch panel, as there was no other place to put them. Mounted the panel on the cage, at first i though it was a little gawdy, but for practicality reasons, it grew on me. Easy to read and reach.
