Hey... Going on a mild wheeling trip today, but wondering if there is any specific info/photos some may want to see--Slee bumper, TJM T13, Winch, BP-51's, lighting, 35's etc.

Unfortunately, I do not have the **alignment printout** to document the magic sauce Slee used to make 35's fit so well, but I can certainly show what was done...

Yep a pic of you signing the title over to me? ROFL

Interestingly... I stopped by Toyota yesterday to get one of their amazingly cheap $41 synthetic oil changes my guy there does...and immediately, their Facebook photographer came out. Before I knew it, there was a literal CROWD of Toyota workers surrounding Bubba--taking photos and asking questions.

The owner of that dealership (who was not there yesterday) is a HUGE cruiser fan, and one of them told me it wouldn't surprise them if he tried to buy it from me. Ha!

Hey @Markuson, just a heads up, finally got around to mounting my Hi-Lift and noticed that the brass clip that holds the arm to the jack while stored has the potential to jab into the spare tire's sidewall. Over time that could lead to issues with the endless abrasion. I just unclipped it and rotated it away from the tire.

Pshaw...he doesn't even have lockers or a theme song. ;)
Heehee... You ain't just whistlin'... -4.88 and front/rear lockers are definitely my next major mod. Just couldn't swing it financially yet, and also wanted to be sure these 35's were gonna work. They turned out to be great...So ya... gears/lockers...coming up!

Hey it's a Cali Cruiser... we doan need no stink'n lockers! He's working on the second verse I think. Pretty funny!!

Oh, I definitely need lockers. But NEEED $ first! :bang: :hillbilly: By the time you do gears, two lockers and install, we're talking $5000+!

I'm gonna wait till I self humiliate myself by getting stuck a few times then lockers. Until then it's Mr. Toyota, my brain and right foot? Oh yeah I'm going thru my Barry Manlow albums looking for my song

Hey Mark I heard you joined a cool club recently, rumor has it a couple guys are gear and locker install pros - cuts your $5k to what... $3k? What a bargain.

So Mark, my only holdback on going 35's is the impact to articulation due to having to add the extended bump stops. I have not wheeled a 35" 200 so I can't really say I have anything to go on other than just knowing that there is an impact. Having driven a lifted 100 with no articulation up front for a lot of years, one of the things I really like about the 200 is that there actually is some... a lot actually.

So, whats your take on how it is affecting your offload ability... balance between bigger (and awesome looking tires) and the impact of less articulation?

On lockers, I went with the eLocker in the rear... are you thinking that direction or ARB?

Your truck is so nicely set up now! Just loving everything about it!

The last few trucks I've had were fully locked, and I wanted to wheel my 200 a bit open before I dropped the cash to get ARBs and gears. I haven't wheeled an 08-11 200, but I'm so impressed with the traction control on my 14 I don't think I'll upgrade to lockers. Would it be nice in some cases, absolutely, but unlike tires, sliders, suspension, etc. I don't think the payoff is there relative to the cost. I feel the bang for the buck for sliders and tires is off the charts, but beyond that it's diminishing returns. It's kind of like remodeling your house - if you sink $40k into a kitchen, you'll get that value back 100% or more if you do it right. If you drop $40k into a garage remodel, you're going to have a hard time convincing anyone your house is worth $40k more. You put $5k into tires, suspension and sliders, people see the $5k value, but that same money into lockers and gears (while useful) won't appeal to most in the same way. Of course my opinion comes from a place of never keeping a vehicle longer than 6-12 months, so I choose very carefully where I drop my benjamins - although you'll find most of mine at Slee :)

I guess it depends on how you intend to wheel. I intent to wheel in a manner that will frequently hang one or two tires in the air...and without lockers, you quickly become helpless unless you can force your non-hanging tire to do the work.

For example:
-The very first trip with my 35's, I got stuck in a position where my two left tires were spinning with ZERO traction...and because of no lockers, my right tires--which DID have traction--sat without turning. -Classic case of where lockers would have been very helpful. Funny thing is...it occurred to NONE of us (ha!!) to engage crawl control!!! -which does its best to mimic lockers by controlling which tire gets driven. Oh well... But ya, if you've ever had your no-traction tires do ALL the spinning while your other two don't even try...lockers become attractive real quick.

As for bang for the buck... I agree that most of us don't really need lockers. But for those who will get their trucks into stuff that needs them, it's worth it. Also... I want to re-gear with 35's...so it makes sense to get lockers in there while tearing into gears already.

We put Timbrens in front, but NO extra bump-stops in the rear because it was determined it wasn't needed. Front bump-stops will certainly come into play at some point, but they aren't that huge...and I'm also gaining a full 1.5" in clearance by going to 35's. If I manage to fully stuff a front tire, I'll try to stop and get a photo...
