@mattressking did you get these thru Stern or elsewhere?

The Vta dealer just gave me a deal on some shifter bushings. Walk-up parts counter only charged me 2 times what their own online price is. Hope it isn't them you're talking about.

Oxnard, they all give my employee price Which is great for things i need next day.

So I just purchased the Hella H4 Housings from Amazon and installed them. They did not come with bulbs but I put a 55(60) in from the autoparts store. A ton better than stock and this is with stock wiring.

First is with no lights on

Second is low beams

High beams

Low beam pattern

High beam pattern

They work great and I'll see if I can snap some pics over time in some weather and different lighting conditions, but overall I am very happy with them.

Nice. I put the Hellas in and they were ok. Then I realized they were aimed too high. When I got them lined up they were very nice.

So dumb question... is the lighting position screws to adjust where the lights are aimed accessible without removing the headlight door/surrounds?

Yes it is. Philips screwdriver and then you can get to work.

If the screws turn hard try putting some lube on them. They should turn easily.

Tried to order the kit @mattressking got from a dealer in Spokane and they said it was discontinued, I’ll post if I can find someone who has it.

Ok thanks @Seth S and @John McVicker .... pretty sure that the wife or the MIL picked up a set of the CIBIE housings for me along with a Cruiser Corps dash cap for Christmas. Will have to get them in and aim everything!

I've always been sensitive to glare. I usually have to wear sunglasses on foggy days because of this. Glare is something that HID headlights seem to be exceptionally good at making.

Not when they are in projectors

You are thinking of HID bulbs in halogen housings...

My 2017 Lexus GX460 has HID projector headlights and it’s gorgeous. Perfect beam and light output.

I'm not thinking of anything. I'm talking about what I have been living with since HID headlights became common. HID's are distinctive regardless of the lens they're behind. It's true that some are worse than others, but they're all guilty to some extent. The poorly/cheaply made/done conversions of an H4 or 900X headlight are the worst, that's true too.
