Well it’s only been two years since I ordered it. What’s a few more? However, patience is a virtue and I do want my turbo. Good things come to those who are willing to wait. I’m just glad you didn’t pull the plug on the whole thing. I doubt anyone would blame you. Except the blood sucking ambulance chasers and the morons who have no idea what you’ve been going through or worse, they do and don’t care. Hope your wife is feeling better.

What muffler and pipe size are y'all running?

stock from cat's down.

I was thinking of going 2.5 but I like how quiet the truck is right now. Maybe when I get Meth'd up. I will do a full exhaust with new magnaflows and open her up to take advantage of less restrictions.

2.5 inch 304 stainless with a vibrant ultra-quiet resonator (1141). To quote my brother, who made the entire system, "it sounds like an older model m car." My 2cents.... Sounds like the gates of Heaven opening. :steer: :spiderman: I think there are pictures in my thread (not to be thaaaaat guy).

I'm leaning toward that solution as well and need to know if the muffler is a straight through design. Let me go look at Vibrant website.

Your sig link didn’t take - says URL can’t display - I wanted to peek at that exhaust, I have a few of the older I6 BMW motors.

Those w/ headers & a Stromung muffler are very cool when you really hammer down….

just did an overland trip of over 1,000 miles. Almost all completely off road. 12-13mpg with my turbo. I've never got more than 10mpg before. my rig weighs in at 8,200lbs before its loaded for a trip.

I'm at 7900lbs loaded down and still get 10.5 mpg with the Turbo. I've never driven in any slower than 80 tho. And usually above even that =)
I do the same mpg just way faster now.

Geez, between the two of yous, I feel quite "light"

How the hell is your rig that fat without being loaded?

You've never been to the US??

I have a trekboxx system loaded with tools, parts, and everything in between. Roof rack, rear ARB bumper with spare tire, spare gas. Etc. fully armored with all sorts of s***. It just weighs a lot.

Sounds like you never really unload your truck.

I have similar stuff but not that heavy even loaded with passengers

I'm the same way as mine stays loaded as well but I'm at 7100#. Those other fellas got me best by a huge margin.

I'm at 7900 fully loaded for a trip but thats with 64 gallons of gas and spares, full tools and gear/food/etc. My trail tools are more complete than most people's set of tools at home.

8200 with no camp gear/food/etc is pretty crazy

64 gallons of gas? Do you see a local bump in gas prices due to supply issues after you fill up? :flipoff2:

This is not my daily driver. After each adventure, I go through everything and make sure bolts are tight, all fluids are clean and topped off, vehicle is detailed and waxed and fully stocked with parts, tools or anything needed for my next adventure. Then it goes right into storage. so yes, it never gets unloaded.
