Dude, seriously? 287 pages into this massive build for a product and development and support and this is your suggestion? UghThey don’t have any in stock either. I think it’s worth a shot. Comes with a turbo too. How is yours any different?
How is a Land Cruiser different than a Geo tracker? I mean they both have 4 wheels and 4wd. I guess the build quality and material don't matter. They don’t have any in stock either. I think it’s worth a shot. Comes with a turbo too. How is yours any different?

I was thinking, ebay has pretty much this same kit for like $399 +tax. Why do I need all these tubes and paint that you sale? Does this support the the lords motor or the 3FE as it's known?Another turbo being installed at the shop. This guy had his kit sitting in his garage for 15 months

I'm going PT later this summer. Really great to hear this kind of real world feedback. Doing another big swap but this ^^^ adds to my excitement.I had PT on my Turb80 for a couple months before I bought another 80 more suited for it. While it was PT. it was even faster and loved it.
I really wish I had another 80 that's bone stock with 32/33s that I can take around the block just to see how fast it really is with PT and factory tires. Must be tire-smoking fun.
You can remove the front DS for the same affect.I'm going PT later this summer. Really great to hear this kind of real world feedback. Doing another big swap but this ^^^ adds to my excitement.
That's the poor man PT conversionYou can remove the front DS for the same affect.![]()
I wish you would tell us before they ship. I can't hijack the shipment if I don't know when it is going out!
FWIW, I'd always suggest driving around for a while with front shaft out and CDL locked, including in the wet on bitumen before going to the trouble of ordering and/or installing a part time kit. I drove my 80 for 2 weeks like this and decided not to order the PT kit after all, made it drive like a patrol (and if I wanted that, I'd buy a patrol)That's the poor man PT conversion
It'll work. Just bring your 14mm and your shaft when you need 4x4![]()
I totally agree. They drive very differently with FT disabled, especially in rain and snow. With the FT enabled, they are extremely stable on the highway at speed.FWIW, I'd always suggest driving around for a while with front shaft out and CDL locked, including in the wet on bitumen before going to the trouble of ordering and/or installing a part time kit. IMHO the 80's good road manners even with lift and tyres is at least partly because of the full time 4x4 system
