They don’t have any in stock either. I think it’s worth a shot. Comes with a turbo too. How is yours any different?
How is a Land Cruiser different than a Geo tracker? I mean they both have 4 wheels and 4wd. I guess the build quality and material don't matter.

At least you get some great english with your chinese kit. "- Beautifully Made Craftsman Works"

I had PT on my Turb80 for a couple months before I bought another 80 more suited for it. While it was PT. it was even faster and loved it.

I really wish I had another 80 that's bone stock with 32/33s that I can take around the block just to see how fast it really is with PT and factory tires. Must be tire-smoking fun.
I'm going PT later this summer. Really great to hear this kind of real world feedback. Doing another big swap but this ^^^ adds to my excitement.

Another one has left the building!!!!

That's the poor man PT conversion😎

It'll work. Just bring your 14mm and your shaft when you need 4x4 😅
FWIW, I'd always suggest driving around for a while with front shaft out and CDL locked, including in the wet on bitumen before going to the trouble of ordering and/or installing a part time kit. I drove my 80 for 2 weeks like this and decided not to order the PT kit after all, made it drive like a patrol (and if I wanted that, I'd buy a patrol)

IMHO the 80's good road manners even with lift and tyres is at least partly because of the full time 4x4 system

I totally agree. They drive very differently with FT disabled, especially in rain and snow. With the FT enabled, they are extremely stable on the highway at speed.

Off road, it's not a lot different.

I bit of a dissenting view... Love my PT kit. Truck feels so much lighter, easier to steer, etc. Has much greater WAF when she drives it now. Granted, we don't use it a ton in bad weather so that might be the difference.
