In case anyone was curious, this is what 100ft of 1/4” black silicone HPS vacuum hose looks like. :hmm:

For those of you running a kit a couple questions

1. Did you place the MAF after the intercooler. If not are you seeing flooding when you shut down the engine?

2. Did you do anything with the fuel management? From everything that I have been reading the computer is able to put out plenty of gas to compensate for the increased air flow, so much so that it is running to rich and can cause power loss when you start running over 5-6 PSI.

Couple little updates. I got in the silicone vacuum hose but after some investigating and some input from test mule #1, the hose gets really hot and dries out. So I will be putting two feet of Thermotec heat sleeving over the silicone hose. Yeah yeah yeah overkill blah.

Projected ETA on kit? I'm ready to get mine and install it. Coupled with my new LRA 24gal tank. I think I'll get maybe 200 mile range with the oem + aux tank + the Turbo and my foot mashed all the down to the floor. hahaha j/k =)

With all joking aside. I'm hoping i'll get decent mpg if I'm friendly on the peddle. I'll be happy getting my 10mpg I'm already getting with more power!

The nice thing about a turbo... its there when you need it, but you can still get decent (relative) mpg when you don't.

I'm assuming these will also be available on a t-shirt? maybe a keychain fob? i'm just trying to find additional wits end things for me to spend money on while I'm there... like Joey needs any marketing help though!

So there was a reason why I didn’t pick up all of the J-pipes from the fabrication shop. It’s because I knew there was something missing. For as much work as went into the J-pipes there was no mark showing it was Wits’ End

I was initially going to laser engrave but that would just not look right. I wanted something more custom. Well I finally figured it out. I had some 4” stainless steel plates laser cut and then pipe bent so that they could be tack welded into the pipe. I circled where the plate is going.

Right now I’m concentrating on the stuff that will be included as part of the kit ;)

I was "mostly" sarcastic...thanks for the incredible work.
