Alrighty! Received the diagnosis from my shop in Loveland who came highly recommended as there is a TLC tech there.

The easiest thing to do is to attached the invoices. The gentleman helping me was super helpful and broke out individual jobs into separate invoices so that we can segment work. I am going to post each individual invoice as its own post (9 total) so that I can interact with ya'll on how to handle certain things and the work that I can perform myself. Here goes nothing.

Well marker lights and bulbs are definitely a one banana job. I always go LED from superbrightleds.com to to take the load off the undersized and tired wiring and alternator. Just have to watch polarity.

Alright - now that I have removed my address and personal info from those quotes.

I plan on doing the following myself:

#2 Radiator + Adding Transmission Cooler
#3 Sway Bar Bushings
#5 O2 Sensors
#7 Rear Lift Supports
#9 Exterior Lights

Are there other items I should be able to tackle myself? Any comments?

uh...clean engine and inspect for leaks is easy. Get a 4 dollar can of engine degreaser and head to a power wash/car wash. Go in the "truck" bay and leave the mess for someone else to clean up. Then drive it some and go back and look for leaks. Simple.

Changing front and rear diff oil is pretty easy. Get a squeezable quart jug the one with the pointy top and 2 gal jugs of 80w90 API GL-5. Use the quart jug to squeeze the thick gear oil in until it starts to roll out the fill plug. Refill the quart jug with the gallon jugs. Not sure what the metric size for the plugs are but 15/16 standard wrench has always worked for me for the drain and fill plugs.

One other thing you can do is replace the gear oil in the transfer case. The drain is at the bottom, and the fill plug is on the back near a ground wire. Do this the same way you fill the diffs ...just until it starts to run out. MAKE SURE ..you DO NOT overtighten the plug when you reinstall. These are steel plugs going into an aluminum casing that has a slot in it (i guess to help the fluid run out) It is very common for the housing to get stripped. Gear oil should just trickle out..if it pours out like overfilled you may have another common problem of fluid migration from the trans to the t-case. Maybe before draining you can pull the fill plug to verify that it is full and not overfull.

Alrighty, so I just ordered 2 new O2 sensors from CruiserCorps. Expensive yet now I know I am starting from scratch there.

New spark plugs and wiring - so thats handled. I think at this point the idea is to try and get most wear parts new/improved.

You guys are making this an incredible journey. Thank you so much everyone.

I'd highly recommend the lift supports from LiftSupportsDepot.com. I debated going OEM but they're so expensive and everyone said good things about these. Everyone was right. Can't beat the price with free shipping.

Lift Supports Depot Gas Charged Liftgate Lift Support PM2008 qty 2 total $37.70

Drove home after picking up the TLC from the shop. Of course this happens when I park and let the dog out:

The blower was running as well .. it was dripping from the hose shown in the picture.

Any temperature spikes? Rough running or missing? Stinky sweet smell coming from the exhaust pipe? Lots of white exhaust smoke?

Phew, now that I got that out of the way, lets regroup and start simple.

In servicing, did the shop mess with the cooling system? Was it overpressurizing before the trip to the shop? Radiator cap within spec? (FSM will walk you through that one)

My wishful thinking involves just too much antifreeze in the overflow reservoir or a loose clamp or an old hose giving up the ghost. Check the simple stuff first for leaks.

Someone WAY SMARTER than me will be along shortly with what will be a simple solution.

Did I mention WAY SMARTER?

I looked and chose to zip it cuz I felt there’s no way that massive stain is only from the overflow... water pump is my guess.
