Looks like ia small fuel leak from the fuel line. It always shows when I have it sit for a few days
 
They fit great, a little wiggle room. Got them off of ebay from some california company. I need to figure out a way to secure them so no one can walk away with them. Interested in fabricating a tie down clamp that can take a lock?

Those appear to be the same green NATO cans I found at a British import company. They listed them as 'non potable' water cans to skirt the CARB insanity but they are lined with the same protective coating inside as the fuel cans.

Thanks Juggernaught, I'm in love with my cruiser all over again. I can't wait to switch out the tires.
 
just got back from joyriding. That bumper is on there solid. No rattling, nothing. I still need to bolt in the quarter panel protection arms, need to buy a large enough drill bit. As an unintended benefit of having the tire on the side of the driver, no more high beam blindness from the rear.
 
A cable gun lock through the handles of the cans should work, but little sex appeal.
 
If youre going for sex appeal, you'll need to leave an H&K USP on said gun lock... All the panties would drop.

I have two H&Ks. They are the reason I can't wear panties :(

Also, could you snap a pic of the full 62 from the side?
 
I have a .45 full size and the .45C with light and laser pointer. I'll snap a side pic for you this evening, about to head to work and it's still dark out.

Pictures are fine, Mike! I love profile shots haha! And I'm trying to decide if am going to cut off what Aidan did last week and add the quarter guards. Id feel really bad, but damn that looks really really good...
 
Yeah I really wish shipping didn't ruin that quarter guard plan. That was one of the main things i wanted too. Now even with some of the modifications i talked to Jason about, it doesn't seem doable, even if i get it to work, it would be significantly weaker than the single piece plate that you've got. Ive still got a little problem solving to do do to get it figured out.
