This last one will make you glad you don't live here.

Isn't there talks of shutting down the Michigan pipeline next?

Happy belated birthday Marines and happy belated veterans day to those who served. I've been gone/traveling for about 5 weeks and haven't had much truck time. I still need to fix the trailer before i can go out on another camping trip and I'm waiting on a few things for the Tacoma.

Yesterday i was volunteered to help the inlaws move. I wasnt happy at first but I got a bunch of free guns and a new smart TV out of it, so i can't really complain.

saw this gem at the uhaul place.

Then today i got to drive up to Cali Raised LED and pick up the sliders for the Tacoma. Still waiting on the rear bumper from CBI to show up.

Found myself with some down time on Sunday, decided to install the Cali Raised LED sliders on the Tacoma. They are seriously beefy and more importantly functional. Aurora will be able to use them as steps to access the boxes once i install them over the cab.

I'm still waiting on the rear bumper to show up.

I'm not gonna lie. I like the look without any sliders on.

Yesterday, I got to hang out with @CenTXFJ60 @POTATO LAUNCHER and Nick who is not yet aware he's about to get addicted to this website.

I dropped off my trailer that needs some frame repair and got to see a ton of cruisers. I won't post up all the cruiser pic I took as its not cool rub it in everyone's face so close to the holidays. But here's a small sample.

And I need new TREs. The question now is do I upgrade to the GM one ton or stick with the 80 TREs that have served me well for over 5 years.

I have a camping trip planned for around Christmas time and need to get this done before then. Any parts links and thoughts on the one ton TREs?

If you have a trip coming up that quickly just bolt in fresh 80 ends for now.

That's the current plan. Just waiting on the 555 TREs to show up. If I didn't have a deadline I would heavily consider the GM one ton.

You weren’t missing the cotter pin in your TRE above the castle nut were you?

No, it was on there. Jimmy pulled it out to tighten the nut and replaced it with a new cotter pin.

Finally yay after 6 months of waiting.

You're just gonna ding it up offroading anyway. I wouldn't sweat that scratch.

True and if this was going on big red I wouldn't care at all. It's the principle of having to wait 6 months for a gift to your wife and they **** it up at the delivery.

Got this tacoma bumper installed. Was a pain as some things were bent, like something heavy was dropped on it during shipping. But since I'm ridiculously strong I bent them back with my bear hands ( yes I hunted a bear and used its hands). I found more scratches so painted over it, now I won't feel bad the first time I smash this on a rock. Other than having to widen a few holes by mm it was a straightforward install.

I also ordered two Roam cases to mount over the cab.

Started replacing the tie rod ends on big red when I realized the hysteer linkage uses 23mm TREs all around. Had to pause while I ordered two more TREs.

On the Tacoma end, that truck started riding better since the rear bumper install and somehow I'm managing to get mpg that is near-stock ratings. Even the wife commented on the smoother ride and mileage. I guess it has to do with the heavy-duty leaf springs that we installed when we did the suspension upgrade?

Yes I know. We need to detail the trucks.
