here's the latest picture of my two favorite things, my dog Diesel and my truck Big Red. Since the last post I've only really added rock sliders. I'm still overseas but I bought all the parts needed for a 4bt/nv400 conversion. Hope to start it soon.

I think your right about the twins thing.

Again this is more for my own record. With the softest AFC spring and the star wheel turned all the way to the back (closer to the driver ) the truck performed great thru the gears until you hit 5th gear. The boost would drop from around 15 psi to around 7-9. The top speed would be at around 65mph.
I decided to switch out the softest spring for the medium. With the star wheel in the same position the truck seems more responsive but the psi is lower on average. The top speed is close to 70 and the EGTs are a bit higher though. Will keep messing with it until I decide what's the best combo.

You need a spare 60 with 4BT... HEE HEE!

If I could afford it I would. I'm also saving for a 1988 Porsche 911 cabriolet. Thinking about either taking another overseas contract or putting one of my kidneys as a down payment.

yeah, can even do it in the dark with my left hand. Not even kidding.
I hope you have more room than I if you need to pull the vacuum pump. It was the first thing that kicked my ass working on the Cummins. Everything is just so easy to pull off.

Why would you sell? That thing is top drawer!

I would have to remove both batteries and the bracket to mess with the vacuum pump.
