It's a temporary fix. Plus I never had a prisoner get out of them so they will hold for the trip

Zip ties are for terrorists.
Hand cuffs are for princess :)

On the way to the island right now. It's pouring rain. Love it.

Got back from our beach trip late last night. had a blast. Drove all the way from home to the 60 mile marker at PINS in a thunderstorm. The rig did well. winched out one friend and towed another for about 50 miles in the sand. I have a new found respect for the 4bt, it seemed to work better with a heavy load behind it. Here are some videos we took, pictures to follow.

Towing Cimarron 50 miles back to civilization. The 4BT did awesome with the sand and towing. At one point we got faster than 35mph, but had to slow back down because the tow vehicle could not stop or steer fast enough. I later got pulled over for having my HID lights on at the beach. Got off with a warning.

A.C.? One downside to the serpentine setup. I guess you can carry a shorter belt and bypass the compressor.
I had two belts, one was a tad too short and the other too long. So towing was the last option

Could you have bypassed the alternator too?
I don't think so, we tried every combination. plus towing him wasn't bad at all, except for the occasional wave crashes which splashed everywhere

I will be getting the shorter belt before the next trip. Maybe even a couple lengths to cover all combos.
