@jim land I did in fact get some inspiration from hot rods (see my first post and later ones). This one here is extreme (arguably) but the folks over at The H.A.M.B. have some good threads on louvers and what they do along the body.

Wherever you decide to put them just make sure they are chrome......add some sheetmetal bumpers and fenders and securely affix the JEEP emblems along with all the manufacturer stickers from the various add ons.....Booooooooooooooo........That split hood with the spear would be completely defiled by the addition of louvers.
