Dreaming of a coil sprung 45LV and was thinking swapping in a coil sprung chassis would be the "best" way... I THINK the 76 series Land Cruiser is a close match dimensions-wise. I had been considering this chassis but I lost it to a faster buyer.... anyone have any input in this?

I saw that Redline is offering a 45 four door model with an 80 series running gear. Anyone have details on that build?

Redline might

FJC... Now THAT would be interesting....

I always assumed an 80, but a 105 might be good also.

Yeah it is a bit wider, but this guy used a weird offset rim and made it work. The V/LV is wider than the regular 45, no?

The LJ series as you know crushers runs a Hilux [Landcruiser II, Prado] final drive ratio and gearbox - but a Landcruiser t'fer case. So this would have to be taken into account. I had an RJ70 in North Queensland - my first car actually. Smoother than my third car - a BJ42. A lot smoother.
