I'm always amazed at the number of FJ40s running around with bad brakes just because they are out of adjustment. $10 for the adjustment tool, but it might include unsticking the frozen adjuster screw, which costs nothing, but takes a lot of work.

I made my own air tanks from old water/soda fire extinguisher tanks (stainless steel type). Just find a worthy cap, drill it, tap it and install a schrader valve..... done deal!

I looked through the FAQ in some detaill over the past few days, but must of missed it. I searched for "cheap mods" and "best mods" and "FJ40 mods" but only the 60 mod thread come up.
