Basement Concrete removal done per Kelly marker lines on floor. Will report back when i have all the Pieces of drain fittings that are on the "kelly approved" list. I even have the custom "Kelly made" plumbing fitting awaiting installation.

Seriously, soon as I have all the pieces and we can work it out i'm ready when you are.

Concrete blade on a circular saw covered with a clear plastic bin with a hole in the back for your hand and cord and a hole in the side for the shop vac hose makes a pretty good way to not cloud the house with concrete dust. Filter on shop vac does clog quickly. I think macGuyver would be proud.

Zane whenever is convenient for you holler and i'll swap out pex stuff with ya.

and Who was I looking for VIN tag for? I'l look in pm's found that this weekend as well..

Erik,

Thanks for letting me use your PEX tool. For those of you who have not used PEX for plumbing water lines in your home, my 6 year old could do it.

I will call you and arrange the delivery of your tool and PEX to you.

ZZ

Zane's delivering my tool.. I'm not quite sure how to take that ..

I said I would "Arrange delivery" I didn't say I would be delivering.. :) ha... See you soon with beer in hand!

Picked up the remainder of the stuff Kelly had on my list last night.
I need further guidance whenever... WHen you get a breather from taxes let me know and I'd love to get the drains installed. I can lay it out but would rather get the "Proceed" nod first.
I'll try and find the camera this weekend to post a picture of the hole.

I was planning on breaking away next week after the 15th to help you out. I am not saying you can't do it..... just let the guy do it that has done it a zillion times.... also the guy that wan't to thank you for all your knowledge sharing.

I'm good with that logic.

Kelly = The man! that is all..

Ok. Anyone ever sandblasted glass to give it a "privacy" look. I think the 12 pane glass door sliding into the pocket in a small bathroom will feel bigger letting a touch of natural light in..
Was looking at the 12pane glass door and blasting it to etch the glass so you can't see thru..
Just fire up the sandblaster, tape the wood and go?

have you looked at the frosted tint that lowes or hd sells in the mini blind section? I put it on my basement windows and it does great with letting light in. And gives you the option to go back to clear if you want.

No I have not and yes I will look!
Seems easier to "tint" than to sandblast!

door at house picked up one on way home from junkyard. found film in the "carpet" section.. looked at that option, Not sure on what to do yet.. Have 2 options.. thanks for the ideas.
Not installed yet so I got time. .. Was working on new to me daily driver. I moved a whole decade up.. Many will find that surprising..

Wow! a 1980's car?

no more acura?

I'm getting ready to start my basement finish. What did you end up doing to insulate the concrete walls?
