You use them often? I might try schedule a trip to canton to let you show me the ropes on them. I've never messed with them at all.

Stick ..... in. Pump the handle till the tip breaks off. Done.

Sounds like the warning label on a male enhancement.

I'd use some liquid nails adhesive in addition to whatever hardware method you use. Prepping the aluminum will make it stick forever. It will keep hardware from stressing during those overlanding whoops. Refer back to the last BBNP trip those guys exuberantly took their trailers on.

I think someone should've applied some liquid nails to their rooftop tent on the last excursion...

Got it insualted, walled, and painted. Surely she looks a little more presentable?

Next up: removable bike mount on front wall, fold down section for bed, fold down table.

Used sheet metal screws in the alum studs. Had rivets/gun but the head of the river was just too big. If they start to move, I may add some rivets in key places.

Ha no doubt. My original plan was fantastic Fan in roof but don't have the clearance with RTT on top. Plan on doing side vents toward the front that can be opened/closed.

That said, I have no intention of summer camping unless it's not in the south. Too freakin hot. I do have a generator that could run a small a/c unit in front of I decided that direction. Right now though, don't want to fool with it. Will just use in cooler weather.

Got the trailer out for a little trip last weekend to the ozarks. Had the tent to myself and put on the annex for the pup (who wants to haul an 80# dog up 7’ of ladder....).

Next project is to rebuild the rear doors. Looks like they are (rottted) plywood encased by aluminum sheets. Got two things to figure out-
1. Door closures/locks that would be a simple install?. I can using the existing but it isn’t ideal when someone sleeps in it. You could lock them in pretty easily.
2. If anyone had a suggestion to make the doors give me an inch or two of additional leg room on the inside, I’m all ears. Want to make sure I have a good seal but figured I could recess the panel somehow to give me just a tad more room.

Enjoyed the warmer weather today and decided to put a quick coat of paint on the old wagon wheels / km1’s I picked up from @wngrog for my spare. I then did a quick dry fit on the tongue to make sure they’d fit.

Then I stole my kid’s sweet chalk holder and made my mark.

Broke out the jig saw, popped in a plexiglass blade (cutting fiberglass...close enough, right?), and started hacking away. It got the job done.

Now I no longer have a donut for a spare and I’m still super aerodynamic.....yeah right.

Also picked up a QuickFist Rachet Mount and mounted my little 5# propane bottle.

This time last weekend, I was hitting the south end of 600-1 in the Talledega National forest. I know it’s become commonplace but even my soccer mom, non-locked, LX470 is surprisingly capable, even while towing this little rig over the rocks and through the mud.
