Looks nice. Except the wheels. They're a little too Bling! Bling! for my liking.

I agree. I was excited about the truck when I first saw it, but the excitement is starting to wear off.

$16k is too rich for that many miles. And whats with the cloth interior on a 97?

That was my thought as well. It's a beautiful rig, but with over 200k on the clock, its not worth $16k. If it were ever stolen or totaled, and you didn't have a stated value policy (as opposed to the standard actual cash value policy), you would likely get screwed by your insurance. And yes, it is across the country so you would have to factor those costs in as well. It is a nice rig though.

Yea, totally agree. I posted before he put a price. When I saw $16, I almost fell out of my chair. No way it's worth that. Plus, for some reason I was thinking it was in Colorado. :meh:

Keep looking.

Oops, this was a repost.

That 40th sounds promising. Need to talk to the boss and see if she'll raise my budget.

I spoke a couple times with the SLC guy last night. Was actually going to pull the trigger last night and then he mentioned something about a possible problem with the manifold and possibly may cause issues with passing emissions in CA. Said it is registered "emissions exempt" in UT. He is very eager to sell though as he is moving, and mechanically it sounds good. Surface rust on the dent on the rear quarterpanel, and surface rust on the front ARB bumper. I'm on the fence now on that one because I don't want the headache of fighting smog. He has it up on ebay with more pics.

No problem.

Talked to him again, and he's going to go back through his records and talk to the dealer in the morning to get a little more info on it.

Slight change of plans. I found a great deal on a 100-series over the weekend I couldn't pass on. So the wife is going to take that one over and I am going to sell her 4Runner and then get an 80 for me. If anyone knows of anyone looking for a clean, low miles 3rd gen 4Runner, let me know.

I am, but it's a bit out of my price range. That's a nice 4runner, should go quick.

Thanks.

Did you find that 100 in the San Diego area? If so damn you, I saw it too late and you got one hell of a deal.
