Here's a couple of links I use all the time to more easily search craigslist

Let's you search by state one multiple inputs; (ie: land cruiser, landcruiser, lx450
States

and this one it nifty too

I found my '96 on autotrader a year ago for only $5900 up in OC. Be patient, the right one is out there.

It is craigslist, so anything goes. Scary.

Reply from the seller: the front differentials were replaced. i'm not sure why. this is my father's car. but i'm pretty sure it was because it wasn't driving right.

Thanks for the heads up on the search utilities. I have been using the States one, that is a huge time saver. I will check out that other craiglook utility as well. Thank you.
 
One more question.....

Does anyone recommend a vehicle shipper based on prior positive experiences (price and service)? Just in case I find a vehicle outside of my range to pickup?

I have used DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) twice now. First experience was positive, uneventful, no issues. Second (when I was selling my FJ40), was the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. I would avoid them at all costs.
 
So did you pick up the CE in Reno?
 
Thank you. I have been e-mailing back and forth with him. He is waiting on some parts for the EGR, and is doing the front axle service as well. I told him I want to come by as soon as he's ready.
