Mistakes happen. He looked like he was going a little fast to me.
I've never done this trail, but from what I've seen of it he's lucky it happened where it did, and not in a section where he could have gone all the way down.

Why the heck was he so far left? Brain fart?

I guess I shouldn't be too critical given what I almost did at the bottom of Rose Garden Hill on the Kokopelli trail

Looks like he may have been looking to the right and drifted to the left. No reason to roll there. Passenger side tires were on the left center of the road. I am sure they are looking back on the video and realizing right where they went wrong.

Thank you for posting, just goes to show, it only takes a second to go from the White House to the $hit house.

He definitely drifted to the left. Weird. Like the guy that ran up said: "how the *#$@ did you roll???" There was another distraction going on. Glad they are still alive, they are very lucky.

Thanks for posting that Kyle.

..a good reminder that things can go wrong quickly, even when it probably shouldn't...

I have no idea what you're talking about...

Well, working again = some disposable income = itching for upgrades.

Thinkin' about a front bumper.

Here are the off the shelf offerings:

Since I don't love any of the 100 front bumper that are out there and since Andrew refuses to help me build one, I've been thinking of running a stealth winch setup (always liked sleeper hot rods, so why not keep mine a sleeper wheeler :D).

Not sure of the strenght of the setup, but like the idea... https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/winch-mounting-in-stock-bumper.588081/

That would be pretty cool. The only thing I've ever seen you hit on that bumper are the outer lower edges. Be kinda neat to trim those up like wings and maybe edge that with a lower pipe valance. Way cool.

I like the stock-ish look too, its why I still have my fender flares and not 35's :)

Yeah, I've been thinking about taking the front bumper off and poking around to see what kind of room I've got to play area with. Figured while I have it off, I might as well do a little trimming. :grinpimp:

I can give you a hand sometime...I'm surprised you don't like the TJM or the ARB. The stealth winch is a good idea. Maybe you could add some sort of tubing/bull bar to the stock bumper, like Luke suggested?

Glad I could guilt you into helpin'. :D

I "like" both of those bumpers, just don't "love" either on the 100 and for $1200plus, I feel I should "love" it. ???

Also thinking of something like this (from MUD member bluecruiser):

I might as well just go all in...

Nice. If you go that route(or any other route), I will be happy to do some CAD work for you so that you can get some steel plate cut. Maybe instead of "toyota" you could go with "insert rock here";)

Seriously, that bumper a bumper like that (don't steal that guy's bumper!) would look good on your truck. You might be able to use the little slot pattern from your sliders on the bumper to make it match up well. It looks like there might be room for a winch where the license plate is, as well.

Wonder why nobody is siping offroad tires like that anymore, leaving us to sipe them ourselves??

Does it significantly shorten the life of the tire?

Also, found a front bumper I'd buy TJM T17. Nice and simple and ................ discontinued years ago. :crybaby:
