I would be interested in running it again if it was a smaller group and not an event. The week after Labor Day weekend (the week we're in now) is, in my opinion, the perfect time to run it. Weather is still decent and the trail is practically deserted.

It's a long ways out but I think it would be a great time for sure. If we did the rubithon it would be limited to Toyotas and if some who want to go didn't have a Toyota they would be out. I think a small group would be good, but if there is not much interest I would think doing the rubithon might be for the best in that case. I just watched a video of a jeep pulling a trailer through. Doesn't look like a fun time.

Yes that was a great article. Thanks for putting it up. One of the problems I think is that the smarty pants that don't like us find a way to get in charge and muck it all up. It's happening all over the place not just parks and rec. stuff either. Guys like me and maybe some of you have a few different hobbies and kids so we just don't have the time to get in there and get it done right, Or we just don't like political garbage and try and stay away from it all. Either way it won't change unless we start putting people like us in charge instead of some of the dumbasses that pretend they know what they are doing. I won't single out a group but I just finished a job for some Feds and let me tell you after being around them a day I would say I or anyone here would be qualified for there 90,000 dollar salary job. It got me thinking a little this week. Sad thing is, I thought I was immature and it appears not so much when compared to what I saw. I am a little jealous of them.
MAN!!! I like the sound of these "regular" campsites, we got any like those around here?!?!?!

Yup. JD Murray. I was on the fence about his and another company, then he had a Labor Day or Father's Day sale, something like that, got them almost cheaper than I could have bought the materials to make them.
