Even my 9 yr old can do the install now! (she gets to do the front)!!!
Great! Send her over to my house!
I have been thinking about getting one of these but I was worried about installing it. I guess I'll just have my 5 year old do it for me.
DavidW-theres laws against that!
Glad to see a dad involving his kids.
How did she like the smell of gear oil?
She'll remember that forever!
Makes me miss my dad and the days of wrench turning with him. Thanks for sharing Dave. For Christmas get her some work boots so her little feets won't get crunched.
Because it'll be in her clothes forever!!
Plan on making it thru the rock garden next time?
Kid is pretty cool, likes to hunt and fish and has shot a bigger deer than I have (11 pt) but can still dress up all pretty and look as beautiful as her momma. She definetly made a comment on the gear oil smell, but then was playing in it. I don't let her weld in shorts and flip flops, but its summer. Quazi, I don't know if I'll ever get through the rock garden after watchng Kowboy and the Beater and Josh! Those guys can drive.
Awesome. The aussie is pretty easy and I think my write-up is in the FAQ. You know it was easy if I could do it.
Today I also worked on a rig with my little girl. Except she is 17 and it was her rig. We changed her oil together and went through all the fluids. I did the skid plate and the filter and she did everything else. She had never done it before and it was nice doing stuff together.
i got a rear axle that needs to be rebuilt...anybody wanna loan their kid out for the day
now thats cool, my 11 year old son and i do the same thing. right now we are in the middle of a mini bike rebuild for him so he has something to ride on the trails around the property.
thats awesome it also reminds me of workin on the rig with my father.
Just test drove the Pig. WOW!! Heard it ratchet once when I pulled out of the drive and turned left, drove a mile and turned no sound. Turned into another drive and heard it ratchet quiter than the first time. Drove up some dirt mounds in 2wd and got further up the ones that I can't climb(70 degree angle) than I usually can in 4lo!!! I think I am going to like this. When it's time to rebuild the front axle guess what is going in there. Thanks Bill.
Got to wheel it this past weekend and it worked great. The long ass Pig went up one climb that two Heeps with lockers front and rear and 39 Irocs on one and 39 Creepy Crawlers couldn't climb (Pig has Mud King 35's). Tried to not give them too much crap about it but oh well!!! Friggin awesome!
its night and day isnt it. i was blown away at how well my rig did. i cant wait till i throw one up front, ill be climbing trees
