I just got my transmission skid in the mail this week from ASFIR and will be doing a more in depth installation guide. Stay tuned.
Took 7 days from orderingWhat was shipping and how long did it take for you to get it?
Thanks for the info.Took 7 days from ordering
Shipping was $19
If they don’t have them in stock and have to produce it will take longer
And it sounds like they are going to be making them for the US 100 series this year so I would just wait for that announcement
Does anyone have the details on the required bolts to mount the front skid or the stock?
I plan on getting the Asfir skid but I need to know what bolts to buy since mine are currently missing, along with the OEM skid.
Any idea on length?M8x1.25
Thanks for the additional information. The ASFIR front plate only has the front 3, single middle, and rear 2 bolt positions. I'd say it's about 2/3 the length of the Slee front plate judging from the pictures.
Talked to Leonard as ASFIR a week or two ago and he said to keep an eye on the website for US 100 (petrol) specific pieces "in about six weeks". So I am holding off on ordering their transfer case skid.
Sounds good. Thanks. Can't imagine there is anything to change on the front skid.
The one I got couldn't have been a better fit, and also has been listed right along as fitting the US trucks.
Following for updates on petrol-specific versions of the other two skids.
me too. And shipping cost reports—I thought their website, which says $19 shipping to usa for everything, was serious, and I thought that wa skins of insane.
Simultaneously reassured and discouraged to know it costs more.
