Anyone using LED Headlights in their FJ40?

Was thinking about making the swap, but wanted to see how people like them before I did anything. Is this a worthwhile upgrade?

I have led bulbs in my h4 housings. I like them. Less amp draw on my old wiring and good output.

I don't have them on my 40, but they are on the list. I have them on my Heep and love them

I bought these from Racer65. This is the high beams. I think they work great.

I've got Racer's too. Really nice upgrade from the dismal originals. Less electrical draw, and good pattern. Low beam gives a wide road angle and the highs have very good distance capability. Each plug and play changeover. Very satisfying upgrade. I looked at the Truck Lites too, but could not justify the cost.

Would be interesting to see these compared to my IPF housings with 80w/100w bulbs, and upgraded harness.

Because I love my setup.

High beams are like daylight on @Racer65's lights. Nice upgrade!

FWIW - Some of the 7" LEDs on Amazon/Ebay are not SAE/DOT. Racers are, as are Truck Lite and JW Speaker.
