Anyone know of a source for the 20004 oil filter?

Those 10 are already sold (not to me).

There may be a way for me to get some if I make an end run. If I can pull it off it would take up to 10-12 weeks and I would like to know who is geniunely interested in getting them and how many you would want.

I saw a dozen of them sitting on the shelf of a store about two weeks ago. Of course I was in Japan two weeks ago. They wanted 1000 yen for them or about $8.75 each. We bought a toilet seat instead.

That part number is still live in Japan. That is why there may be a way for me to go.

With 2 80s, I got through filters pretty fast.

Count me in the intererested category...how many do I want? How many can I get ;)

Oh yeah...how much will they be?

I need to call you anyhow...danged 2nd antenna cable broke

Big filter and beer

From Cdan - "The 15600-41010 is a fine filter and it does hold a lot of oil. Of course, it all spills out on the front axle housing when you remove it " - Here's my solution learned from the heavy equipment mechanics I work with:

Get a funnel, attach hose to end long enough to run to waste oil pan

Get screwdiver with sharp point longer than the funnel.

cut small hole in side of funnel

Stick screwdriver through hole in funnel, from the bottom

poke hole in filter, aim hose at waste oil pan

let oil drain from filter, remove funnel & screwdriver

Poke screwdiver through filter entirely to pop loose

Or just stuff a bunch of paper towels or blue shop rags under the filter to absorb most of the oil and be done with it.

I'm lucky to get my hand/arm in there to reach the danged filter...I'll be damned if I can get a screw driver and hammer in there too.

...but that's just me...some people have :princess: arms :D

dan, put me down for genuinely interested in 12. as in I will buy them if you get them and the price is not insane.

Or get the filter loose and slide a plastic grocery bag around it(or 2 in case one of them tears as you're pulling it out), as you spin it loose and it falls it will fall into the bag and the bag will collect the majority of the oil.

I just picked up 9 of the 90915-20004 filters from CPJONES1231. Casey works in the parts department at Perfomance Toyota in Memphis and it was a pleasure meeting him.

Hmm - I think I'll just use the Movil 1 oil filter like I use in my Tacoma - same price

Dan,
If you can get some I would be interested in @ least one case, maybe two If not to unreasonably priced.
