Anyone have success with chrome paint?

I have a smidge of experience with the chrome paint options. To get the results as pristine as the TSB spray takes a lot of work (they make it sound like it doesn't... not the case). I've not found a good solution in the form of paint.

I'd love to get my hands on the new chrome powder from Eastwood. It's essentially a powder-coat product and might not work for your plastic grill, but check this out: Eastwood Extreme Chrome Bonded Powder

If you go to a local powder coating shop they can probably get you a 5lb sample pack for a nominal fee. Usually the coater can get sample packs for free...

Will definitely not work with plastic as you need to bake powder coat at ~650°F

Probably for the best as well as I know very little about powder coating.

That is interesting. I used to be in the powdercoating world and the low temperature cure coatings were usually not as robust a coating but it is still an interesting find.

I would guess the powder coat "chrome" would be about as good as a non-chrome coating could look.
