Anybody ever thought about pressurized on Board Water?

Thinking maybe an "H" Shape then lift the ends 1/2" so they flow to the middle then elevate front to back?

Yeah, I'll mock something up here at the store today. I've got a few minutes free. I have an idea what I want to do but not sure it will work.

We use these, the RV type pump works well, have it converted to use garden hose. 15 Gallon Spot Sprayer 12 Volt It's main use:

But we do!

What type of construction? At one point I was looking for a tank to fit between the frame rails on an M416 trailer - never did find anything.

Like an RV tank. Specify for any inlet, outlet, or pumps, etc.

Wow! That's really cool! And it didn't look like it changed the patina of the rock. How did you do that? I would carry one in my truck all the time just for clean up purposes.

The most effective stuff we have found is the Bare Brick, Stone and Masonry Graffiti Remover from: Various Graffiti Removal Products to Combat Vandalism - Remove Graffiti From Brick, Stone & Masonry not cheap but works well. One of the main priorities is to leave the rock looking natural, some methods leave an affected shadow. When accessible we use a pressure washer, when not, then brushes and low pressure rinse.

Most cases are small, single panel deals, done on normal wheeling days, but have done a couple of big jobs. Lower Sycamore, 2-13 to 2-17-2017 - Tonto Recreation Alliance Forum and Graffiti Removal Event, Lower Sycamore 12-12-2016 - Page 2 - Tonto Recreation Alliance Forum

Can see using it for mixing concrete for gate, signs installs, moistening soil for trail repairs, watering plants for revegetation projects...

So rotomolded polyethylene? Cool - maybe I'll sketch something up. I thought getting a custom tank done would be alot more.

Not with this guy. Let me know if I can help.

This is how I did hot water on my old Tacoma, I have the parts sitting in the garage waiting to be installed in my 80.

At idle, the heat exchanger would produce endless hot water, hot enough to scald if you don't have the mixing valve turned down.

The mixing valve is thermostatic so no burns if your water sits in the exchanger when showerhead is off.

Yeah, I'm thinking more of an "S" or "U" style. And definitely 6". The only downside would be the additional fittings to make the S or U will cost more than straight pipe. But that's not the end of the world. I work at Lowe's so I get a discount!

yes. Im thinking of a rear-facing U with 6" (we're metric here so 160mm) across the front, and the 2 sides reducing to 4" (125mm) but only running about halfway down the rack, need to leave space for tentage at some point. by my calcs it should hold about 40Lt. Im gonna mount it to a board that fixes to the rack for structural support and ease of removal

Schedule 40 PVC should be plenty strong without a board to support it. You will have plenty of weight up there. No need to add more.

I will probably leave mine up there all of the time, except in the winter. Just empty.

Now that's the S**T!!!!

Adding this to the mix as an option. Yes, it's only 2 gallons but is trail refillable, pressure comes from one of two places;

1. The hose that you fill from.
2. A bike pump, if you refill in your campsite as opposed to a hose. (attachment sold separately)

Used this on our most recent vacation to moab and it worked out pretty well. No complaints other than it did NOT come with the "field fill kit," or the "sink-fill adapter." And of course, isn't hot water unless you fill it with hot water.

See video here-

I just use the Zodi hot water system. It's not integrated with the truck but it works so well that I wash my dogs with it in the yard at home. Water is hot and pressure is useable.

Amazon.com : ZODI Outback Gear Hot Tap Travel Shower : Portable Camping Shower Gear : Sports & Outdoors

thats what i have as well, i have found though that the pressure really is weak unless you place the unit and water up high and allow gravity to help. with the unit on the floor and trying to take a shower it is frusrating

I saw HF has a 16 gallon sprayer w/12 volt pump for $99. I'm thinking of mounting that up between the frame where the spare was. Basically it's a plug and play set up, just switch sprayer nozzle to a shower head (or not) and go! Poly tank.

I tried this, but can't keep joints from leaking. And I'm using a hand pump to pressurize.

If you glue the joints properly then it shouldn't leak. PVC is a thermoset compound meaning you are literally melting the two pieces together. If done properly.

I used to help install sprinkler systems on "the side". I used the same brand primer, as well as pvc cement, and after letting it sit for 3 days I filled it about 3/4 full, and after my 4th or 5th pump of my bicycle hand pump....... pow! Shooting water like a bi...! IDK, maybe a bad lot of glue? I'm going with the 16 gallon HF sprayer with 12 volt pump mounted underneath. (Obviously with skid plate)

I used to carry an old soda keg I modified for a shrader valve and hose quick disconnect. I used it for running misters while at camp on hot days. I would charge it to no more than 10psi and would last for hours. Very portable.

I have also carried a water extinguisher pressurised to 125 psi. Great for knocking squirrels on their butt that are trying to get into the camp boxes.

I have one of these:

WaterPORT: Vehicle Mounted Pressurized Shower

It works great, and doesn't require much work to install. The only thing I have to say is that the frame mount kit that came with it was a little small so I had to bend the bracket a bit. It's great for washing off your feet or giving the dog water on the road.
