Ok - just getting around to this. Re-jigged our Navajo Lake camping for Sun 2nd - Wed 5th. We'll dump the turd box and carry on to Ouray for Wed 5th - Sat 8th. We are booked in the pull through site - 6PT.

See you guys then! Ali, you should be able to walk over and make us samwichsss each day no problem.:flipoff2:
 
August is a good time to go, I've been in Ouray doing family stuff since Friday. I rented a Rubicon and finally got a chance to wheel today. Most the of the trails still have big snow drifts blocking them off a good way up. Alpine loop is definitely not continuous.

Well shoot. I missed the registration for the Hundreds in the Hills event that's happening the weekend of Aug. 1. It filled up in a matter of hours after registration was opened. We might be joining you guys. The only problem is that I've got training that I've already paid for on Aug 5 - 6 and cannot get my money back. So we wouldn't make it up there until the afternoon of Fri. the 7th. If we did that we'd probably stay through Tues. or Wed. Any idea of 4J has any more spots appropriate for a tent or popup?
 
Ali is Larry going to let you take that much time off lol. Wish I could go but it doesn't look promising so I'm most likely out.
 
Wish I could join the group this year but got too many things going on. Maybe next year?

Good news, for me at least. The organizers of the HIH took mercy on me and opened up a few more spots so I will be attending this the week before the HDC trip.
 
I think the Cruizer Gawds took pity on you Marc.

Apparently, Marc doesn't like to go wheeling with the HDC crowd.
 
That's because you harass me about how stock my vehicle is. That, and there's no Grey Poupon available at the potluck night with the HDC crowd.
 
Just signed up for Site #3 at 4J for Friday and Saturday only. Plans are to drive over from Durango early Friday morning, park camber at 4J. Then wheel.

I will need to temporary park my teardrop trailer at someones campsite if no room somewhere at 4J on Friday morning. Jill said it would be ok to park it in one of the HDC (if you guys do not mind) sites for Friday as my spot will not be vacated until later.
