Totally didnt realize you were getting TRE from CCOT too. Didn't read all the way. I wouldn't recomned cheap chinese stuff for this either.

Cruiser Dan is the way to go. I'll get you his number.

If you guys are speculating about the grey colored door weatherstripping, that should be stock. It looks exactly like the OEM door weatherstripping on my '70 pig...and my '77 has shoulder belts mounted on the B pillar as well. All OEM as far as I know.

Cheers, Carlos

Howdy! My seat belts are mounted on the B pillar also. I do have a trim strip at the edge of the headliner, but it is only on the corners of the D pillars. The headliner goes all the way down to the interior panels on the A, B, and C pillars. Unfortunately, my headliner is starting to come down around my ears, so I have to do something soon. Santa got me rear window weatherstripping from Cabe Toyota. (shame on me for peeking) I will have to pull off the roof rack and fix some little holes and dents in the roof before I put up a new cieling. John

Update

Hopefully I can start working on Monday when I get back to Texas. Got a Marlin Crawler Knuckle rebuild with wheel bearings. Can't wait to get started. Also in the process of putting on a new Manifold gasket: It was burned to a crisp. Also got a Pig Launcher, but unfortunately it doesn't launch money into my checking account.

Well, I got the new Exhaust manifold gasket in and it runs and sounds great! There is still a tap in the engine, not that bad, but something to think about. I am planning to put in the new knuckles in about a week or so. The transfer case is also leaking pretty bad. Probably needs new seals. By the summer, I want to weld up a roof rack and put a new bumper on. My wheels are non-us 60 series split rims, so would it be better to just swap out wheels if I get new tires? I can get some steels pretty cheap. There is also a backfire in the idle, so that would probably be the timing. A good tune up is probably in order.

Thanks!

Looks like the factory belt, just never seen them mounted to the B Pillar, quote]

mine is mounted on the B pillar, must be an aussie spec thing??

I saw this on the back cover of the Splinter Cell video game at blockbuster. A little metalwork to cover the bullet holes and a new windshield and your in buisness.

OinkOinker, Do you have rear shoulder belts located on the rear seats? Mine are mounted on the rear pillar. I'll try to get some pics.

were the US spec rears mounted on the seat?? ooo diffrent.....

Quick Question:
Is there a thread with torque specs for the 2F or should I find a FSM. I don't really like Hayes or Chiltons, but if they have torque specs, i'll get 'em.

Howdy! Haynes does have torque specs. Seem to match the FSM. John

I would be interested in a pic or two of this set up! If possible...

It wasn't as strange as I thought. It took about 5 minutes to get good enough to be 'roadworthy'. I get alot of strange looks, but I just smile at them.

No strange looks from me!!! ;)

Nice meeting you the other day.
