Good thing I'm not scared of wires.

Ohio sucks. I better get moving before my 40 starts to rust.

Lucked out so far, I am pulling the 40 without any glass in the hardtop. I have managed to dodge the rain today in Indiana and Illinois, there is a line of storms to the north right now, I am hopeful that they stay that way. Tomorrow is Iowa (like Ohio, a 4 letter word) and up to South Dakota. Hopefully I get to Miles City, MT tomorrow.

Be careful not to slip into a coma through Iowa, Montana beckons.

You realize I-80 was designed to camoflage the actual cool Iowa.

Because too many of you out-of-staters would ruin it, dontchaknow.

That's a pretty serious camper on top of that dually, slide out too, sweet. Be careful not to slip into a coma through Iowa, Montana beckons.

I'm definitely loaded heavy, the camper, hitch, trailer and the 40, I am not even sure what I weigh. 65 mph is fine with me. I have hit 75 a couple of times but I backed off the foot feed once I noticed. Tools, parts for the 40, fluids, clothes, water, food, fly fishing gear,......yeah, I'm heavy.

Made it to Wyoming, near the Devils Tower.

The pic is in western South Dakota.

An old favorite, Chris Ledoux. After all I am in cowboy country.

Missoula.

Time for a nap.

So was that earthquake your impending arrival?

I went, once, through Montana on I-90 several years ago. I was impressed just how much like Southern Oregon, along the I-5 corridor, the area from the Washington/Montana border to Missoula was. I don't remember just where you are going, but the western part of Montana impressed me. A perfect place for your 40, and someone who is addicted to fishing (the outdoors in general).
