Evo Corse wheels installed today with KO2 285/75R17. I plan to remove the white decals.

Any reason no one has installed the fuel beast in a 17” wheel?

Fuel beast is basically 5x150 17”x9” rim +35 offset 110.3 center bore 32lbs and 2500 weight limit seems to be a good fit for 285/70r17 but I haven’t seen anyone run this... does this rim not clear the calipers?

What do you guys think?

@indycole has/does

He is running 18x9 with +20 offset fuel beast rims... seems everyone has the 18x9

Steve578 that looks fantastic. How long did it take to get your wheels? I plan to order up a set.

anyone running Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 285/70r17 on Rock Warriors with an otherwise stock setup? If so, any issues? Trying to decide between the Ridge Grapplers and the KO2s.

Both will fit without rubbing. The 285/70r17 from any manufacture mounted on a RW is conservative enough to ensure there is proper clearance in any direction. So it just comes down to if you want BFG or Nitto.

Also remember, lift doesn’t allow for a bigger tire... it just buys time before the bigger tire runs into the body or suspension components.

FWIW - I had minor rubbing at full lock when I was on stock suspension, with RW and 285/70r17 Duratracs. Passenger side only, when at full lock toward driver.

I’ve become more impressed with my Ridge Grapplers over the last several months after beating them to death in Baja and Cruise Moab. On the other hand...I ran 285/70/17 KO2s on Rock Warriors both ore and post lift without any issue whatsoever until I added 1.25” Dpidertrax spacers. At that point, mud flap removal did the trick. But you should have no issues with either at 285/70/17.

I’m frankly convinced there are no legitimate arguments against the KO2. It is lighter weight than the RG to boot.

If you plan to Air way down...I do think the Ridge Grappler get you more aggressively usable sidewall tread pattern as they sides make contact in sand, gravel, etc. but not a deal breaker for the KO2s.

Bottom line, I think both are deserving top picks in an AT tire, and in your case either of them will serve you without issue.
