Thanks. That was a total WAG on my part.Never ever saw the curved brackets on any FJ55 A/C setup I saw/owned. I think that a generic drawing that is likely FJ40 specific considering the dates listed ('7901-'8007)

Thanks so much for posting that information! So what size donation would I need to make to get my hands on that pair?My guess is they were serviced as part of the core support. I can not find them listed. The radiator is the same part number for with and without A/C. That means they do not come with the radiator. The A/C truck core support is a different part number.

Well shucks. Any chance of getting the approximate distance from the face of the mounting tab to the flange on the core support? You'd have to buy the truck. But, it's not on the block. If it was you'd also get barn doors.![]()
FWIW I thought they might have come with the kit. But that was just a WAG based on this diagram in the Parts Diagrams. My guess is they were serviced as part of the core support. What you have just discovered is exactly how every one in the US I have ever seen had the condensor mounted(early or late). (probably near 40 US FJ55s with A/C)
@cDan, were there actually any FJ55's that truly came to the US from the Japanese factory with the A/C installed? Not a single "Factory" A/C truck I have ever seen in the US had those brackets. Also, as the blue and white PIO stickers indicated (seemed to have shown up more regularly in ~'76 and later), it is likely a port installed option, of the Nippon Denso kit in a box added at the port, hence lack of brackets?
I dont have that fiche, but I have a paper version PAC-063 that is all the NipponDenso A/C parts from the entire toyota line up until 1977 for the US. And there are definitely full kit numbers in there. I would not know whether they were actually available stateside though. That is a generic illustration.
I may be the only person that has one of these. I've never seen another copy in 46 years. I've been clear through it. There are no brackets listed.

TMS sold kits for almost everything but Land Cruisers. The US kit part numbers all began with 00883- and the back half of the number indicated fitment. IE 00883-35920 was for a 92 22RE pickup.I dont have that fiche, but I have a paper version PAC-063 that is all the NipponDenso A/C parts from the entire toyota line up until 1977 for the US. Is that not the correct "whole kit" number that I posted in #849?TMS sold kits for almost everything but Land Cruisers. The US kit part numbers all began with 00883- and the back half of the number indicated fitment. IE 00883-35920 was for a 92 22RE pickup.
Can't say. Those numbers were never live in this part of the world. Is that not the correct "whole kit" number that I posted in #849?
