Closed on the other 2 acres and earnest money is down on acre with well. Soon 4 acres of paradise and 60s series campouts!

Picked up my buddies turbo with wastegate actuator. He said to just take the actuator as he had no use for it after upgrading to a new turbo.

In property news, just sent in my final payment for closing on lot with the well. This will provide over 4 acres of mountain retreat in the shadow of Crater Lake National Park.
First up will be install submersible pump and a manual hand pump in well. Map out and get septic planned. Fence perimeter of property. More fun in the mountains of Oregon.

With the social distancing it’s been a great time for some tasks to get done around the homestead. Ryder’s got 6 new chicks to add to our egg layers and needed their chicken coop replaced anyhow. Decided the best decision was to build a lean to off the horse barn.

The kids have also been bugging me about a treehouse. Since I was getting lumber I figured it’s a great time to start. First was to locate the spot and decide what to build.

I sketched this last week before my lumber order then showed the kids. Both were so excited.

Beautiful Easter Sunday, breakfast elk steak blackstrap and home made biscuits.

No Easter with extended family this year but still time to have kids find their dyed eggs in the yard.

After Easter lunch decided to go on a hike behind our home up Eagle Creek.

Made a quick stop by church so kids could get Easter goodies hidden on the property as service has been cancelled since the virus.

Parking at the trailhead.

The hike starts on a logging road but descends into the hidden Eagle Creek old growth forest.
