The mounts look similar to the Marks 4wd conversion mounts on their site. That's what made me decide to just use the 1fz mounts.
Pics?

I didn't take any pics before installing because there was so little to it. If you don't have a body lift, just bolt a 1/4" plate to the chevy block, position the engine, tranny and t-case in there where it needs to be and eyeball the 5/8" hole you need to drill in it for the top stud of the mount. Then drop it in, tack it together, jack the engine back up to remove and burn it together on the bench. The passenger side motor mount post does need to be cut back and reinforced to match the driver's side.

I used the Marks mounts as well. You will have to hammer the firewall on the passenger side slightly to make room for the top of the cylinder head. As @steve604 said you will have to cut the front of the mount on the frame side and move it back to make room for the ac compressor. I was a little worried on how well the 1fz mounts would hold up to my built LQ4 but so far so good.

And for those that want to run a truck style intake, steer clear of the one from Doorman. It looks better than the OEM truck intake and flows almost as much as the truck intake from FAST but mine suffered a catastrophic failure.

How did that failure happen?

It had a strange noise ever since I got it running that sounded like a baffle in the intake was loose. Took forever to get it cranked when its cold. It blew on a cold start and sounded like a 12 gauge. I know of a few rigs that are running 18psi of boost through the same intake without issues. I'm now running a stock truck intake with zero issues. Starts right up on the first crank now. Odd fluttering noise at idle is gone as well.

I built my own motor mounts and end I believe it came out better that way. I anchored the trans with the factory mount( moved 1" forward and 3/4" to passenger side) and built motor mounts to put the engine where I wanted. I run a 2013 truck intake and stock accessories but with a camaro pan. The pan sits about an inch above the tubular cross brace and the hood closes with just enough room to ever run the plastic engine cover. I have a bunch of pics posted in the beginning of this thread

Do you need to get your front driveshaft cut down? I moved my engine forward less than an inch and the driveshaft is fully collapsed when installed. I need to find another cruiser to check out how much I need to get cut off it.

I ended up replacing mine with a cv shaft

This thread is very long but this has been covered at length previously. If you can spare the time you'll get a lot more insight and supporting arguments for different strategies on these swaps by reading it all and taking notes.

I didn't move the case for a number of reasons, most others did.

That's crazy. I didn't know Dorman made intakes. Like you said, looks just like a FAST brand.

So I wound up with a 2002 as camaro wrecked... I took the Ls1 with 243 heads and shoved it in the 80. Once running found out there was no 3&4 gear. I rebuilt the 4l60e with all heavy duty parts and shift kit that will snap necks. Used advanced adapter engine mounts and adapters/ twin sticks. I modified super comp block hugger headers, stock camaro fans with modified painless 3 relay system mounted to the LC radiator using some old signage. Adapted the trans cooler lines to braided AN hose. As well as adapters from the stock fuel line to AN corvette filter/pressure regulator. Braided it to the engine. Supra fuel
Pump on the stock 80 hanger. Stock camaro engine harness adapted to my application with more painless relays and fuse blocks. All mounted on battery box area. 1987 60 series split case regeared 4;1 low and 10% underdrive high, twin sticks in the stock 80 location. Aisin hubs, stinky slinky stage 1 75mm. 37's Stock shifter and shift pattern parts from 92, gm shift cable with custom made bracketry created my own exhaust. Summit u bend m radiator hoses. It took me about 4 grinding months after work and weekends to get it Ready for turf and surf this year. All the work has been done solely by myself and proud of every piece. And as you know it will never be finished as there is always more to add. I'm working on a build thread to post up soon and will elaborate on this forum when time allows. I have a detailed list of every part I used if there is anybody who is interested. AC coming soon.

It has a set of open header pipes and a solid exhaust system I created. Used v band flanges and had to modify the manifolds to angle the direction I wanted and added the new flanges so they will never leak.
