Have you rebuilt your carb? Throttle plates adjusted to OEM angles?
Well, Danny rebuilt the carb and I have not made any adjustments since she arrived. I've tried asking him about what he did in the way of tuning because it's clear she's running too rich but haven't gotten a reply.
Replacing the belts with the actual, correct belts has sorted the PS (for the time being) and water pump issues but I'm going to install the Man a Fre dummy pully/smog pump replacement since I think it's about to seize. I'll pick it up in Austin next month.
I'm going to check the old belt part numbers to see what they are actually meant for:

And post belt install and 20 mile mixed drive:

Benn awhile since I've made any updates. Here are a few small bits and bobs:
- since we don't currently have a garage for her, she seems to like her cover. :)

- grabbed some new speakers (the card was already cut when I bought it so I figured I'd like to get as much punch as possible so used a 1" spacer up front on the 6.5"s)

- Installed @CruiserTrash fire extinguisher holder. :) Solid and dead easy.

And am about to start in on the smog pump dummy pulley from ManaFre, which I bought as new but one that is clearly used (you can see from the pic) showed up. :/ If anyone has any caveats or gotchas for this replacement, let me know, but I think it's pretty simple since all the de-smogging 'plumbing' is already in place:

I’m proud to have Cruiser Trash Parts be WORLDWIDE 😎

Everything’s looking good on your truck man. Keep plugging away at the last little bits!

So, smog pump is out and the dummy pulley installed. No more slight pulley rattle and peace of mind.

So, does anyone need a working smog pump? Can be yours for ZERO doll hairs, just shipping.

(I also have inside door/rear hatch foam strips that are gently used, if anyone needs any of that, I'd be happy to ship.)

And here she is idling at 800 rpm. I was thinking she was running rich but pulled a plug (re-gapped all of them) and they looked perfect. :) I think I still hear a slight exhaust leak somewhere?
