Looking at about a couple weeks for the complete systems.
Shocks are currently available for order.

sounds good, do you have any links to the springs? or shocks?

As far as Auto Craft Slinky coils. I have sent several Emails & did get a prompt response saying they are having delays with delivery of the wire that is needed for the rear coils.
Also no Slinky coils in the U.S. as of the Email.
No word of who the U.S. distributor is at this time.

Here is a copy paste of the Emails.

Word from AutoCraft is that their stateside dealer is just about to make their first order of the coils - hopefully that means we will see some soon!? I was given a ballpark number by AutoCraft on cost, but I'll let the new dealer get things up and running and then release their pricing. They even told me who the dealer is...:flipoff2:

The smart coils look tempting if sold separately. Yeah there must be a decent exchange bump with such a strong dollar

It's like saving 33% but my math isn't the best.

Our $1 to their $1.50
Our $10 to their $15
Our $100 to their $150
Our $1,000 to their $1,500.

good numbers, and thanks for the forex tutorial!

I reached out to Onur since he's got the hookup with TT. Asked about those shocks in the link, seeing that whole kit is 2500 AUD taking away the springs and other stuff and with the exchange rate maybe it's an option for some of us. I'd really like a res shock but not at $500/corner.

One piece of advice is high performance shocks need more maintenance/rebuild more often than el cheapo throw away shocks. Most high performer shocks will need a rebuild 50k or less so might want to think about how and where to service your shocks after 50k if you ship from the land down under. With out rebuild the shock life might be really short and increase your actual total cost of ownership.

I did not know this, thanks for the insight!

Interesting, wondering how things will pan out cost wise.

DAMNT. The suspense is killing me. I really want something better outback on mine. I love the 2-3" lift height but I can't afford the kidney damage that comes with the rear heavies (my rig is very light compared to most 80s).

Currently on the hunt for some used "stock" height OMEs with a spacer. Then ball out on shocks for the smooth Cadillac ride.

Unless the icon springs come out first!!!

For really light rigs I highly recommend the TJM 50mm progressive springs. Ride really nice, my Lx basically have no weight in the back and they ride very smooth. I tried stock height springs and it's just too firm in the back for my taste.

I was just reading about them. I think I may hunt some down. Seems like most people complained because they were too soft, but that is just what I want!!
