Already have a new ring and pinion but have ran into a bit of an issue, cannot find any carrier bearings for locked diff that will be here in time for the crawl.
I'm sure you've already Georgle'd it?

I can have them out the door tomorrow morning.

One call to Beno and I am now back on track. In the mean time I did a little painting. Let the heckling begin.

My RCV Axleshaft rebuilt longfield hopefully will be in by Wednesday. I want to slip it in before the crawl.

Rob did you ever get your parts in ?

I keep meaning to ask ya, Rob. how was drilling your hub to fit the ARP studs?

Also ..What did you end up doing to fix the stripped pinion threads?

Studs screwed into stock holes. I used a 20mm x 1.5 die to clean up the threads.

Man that looks great.

Got my rebuilt Longfield back from RCV. $95 to rebuild and have it shipped back (I paid to ship it there). Man, this joint is very tight! It was super loose when it left here. I'm impressed by the ability of RCV to breathe new life into this joint and with such a quick turn around time.
