Getting some finishing touches knocked out before the Toyotafest show next sat!

Swapped out the steering gearbox seal

Cleaned out the interior and deep cleaned the floor mat

Re-installed the skid plate and rear bump stops.

Finally took the time to remove every vacuum hose and re-oreintate them so they show less of the text. This was actually driving me crazy for a while lol

Last but not least the long awaited @OPMACHINE bumper has arrived!

Unfortunately it got a little banged up in shipping cross country, but they took care of me and I will need to get it re-powder coated.

For now, I had to mount it as is so I could have the winch on in time for the show this Saturday.

Used the Tacoma as an anchor and had my father-in-law help drag the brakes as the line spooled up!

Thanks! It's an absolute unit. I was told there have only been 3 or 4 made spec'd out with the shackle mounts.

Looks fantastic! I have one of the others with shackle mounts.

Looks like you did bumper first then winch after bumper was mounted. I that easier than getting the winch on the bumper first then lifting the whole thing into place?

Thanks! Did you get yours in pewter gold as well? The winch alone is about 100lbs so I decided to put the bumper on first and had help to mount the winch.

Yes - Vegas gold.

I’ve always mounted the winch with the bumper on the floor, then manhandled the whole unit into place with a floor jack and wood blocks, but I’ll try your way when I put mine on. It’s currently in storage pending the completion of an engine swap (but this is your thread, so back to impressive pictures and Steel-It - lots of Steel-It!)

I’ve got plans for some interior bits to get refinished in steelit lol

The oem battery clamps weren’t very winch friendly and they were loose on the terminals after all these years. So I swapped them out with some USA made Milspec terminals. Still need to wire the winch in permanently but at least it will be easy when I get around to it!
