We knew it was going to be a lot of work, but it took both of us 12 hours straight to get it done 😲 On top of that I had to kick one of the cars out of the garage to let the ceramic coat cure on the 40.

I removed as many emblems and parts off the body as I could before we started working. My buddy did two passes on the whole exterior while I hand polished all of the intricate parts of the body that he couldn't get with the polisher. After all that he applied a coat of gyeon pure evo ceramic coat on the entire exterior and we finally called it a day. It's safe to say my hands, shoulders and feet are toast today lol.

Here are a few before and after photos during the process but the final outcome is even better. Hopefully I can get it out in the sun today for some better quality photos.

Come do mine, I absolutely loathe polishing these trucks.

I was never happy with the weird silver that came on the oem replacement mirror arm. Decided to order up a can of pewter from cruiser corps and I’m much happier with the result. Time to do the other arm and put them back on!

I hadn't ever thought much about ceramic coating my 40 since the paint has a lot of defects and I have some rust, but I did buff it once and it took a shine. This lasted about a year before the old enamel chalked up again. Your's looks great ceramic coated and the shine should last 3 years or more. Great work. Time to go get that thing muddy.

I got tired of taking the extinguisher out of my Tacoma to drive the 40, so I ordered up another H3R halguard. Just not sure if I will use the mount that comes with it or get a quick release mount.

After looking at the various options, I settled on mounting it over the driver’s side rear fender. I know it isn’t ideal in an emergency but it was a compromise.
