Maybe Santa brings me a Nebula green and white 55 for my XMas surprise!! Excited...
Good product on those front floorpans Remy.

Pics finally 😘🤣. Nebula Green isnt availsble due to supply chain shortage, color chips from China, powder from Indonesia and co- op from N. Korea 🤔😯😳. Might as well go Blue 🤔😯😳😘🤣🤣
If you can't go Panther Pink, might as well go Nebula Green!

The rear seat belts had the black plastic cap missing... Put a 'wanted' on the classifieds in hopes of someone having surplus, or ignite a 3D action... After no response, I took a cap off a 92-96 Toyota center rear seat belt, cut the back end open, painted it black, and slid it on... These are the pics.. They'll work until a better option presents itself.. Recovered seats installed tomorrow.. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Pics of the seats???

Is that the OEM rear seat frame? Mine has a third bumper in the center where your latch ring is located. IIRC my latches are on each side.

Looking great by the way!
I'm answering thinking you're referencing the rear seat bottom... It is the OEM seat.. Both my 77's only have the two bumpers... Albeit there is a 3rd hole and I think it has a welded nut on the inside... I'd have to look tomorrow... but the latch catch only works where it's seen in the pic...
My release latch on both are identical, and both are located on the passenger side rear wheel well close to the door jamb...

Yes I think I'm remembering incorrectly about the two latches and the parts diagram confirms just the one in the center. There are supposed to be 3 bumpers though. The one in the center is smaller.

Really turning out nice! Those rear seat latches/release cables change along through the years.
Thanks... I'm in it at this point... Flashback: I never intended to go this route... before it arrived it was either going to be a parts truck or a trail truck... but the more I looked at it, ..... well,, here we are... but it was just to complete to tear up...

Maybe you were thinking of the backrest latch on either side of the upper portion of the seat... Interesting on the 3rd bumper... my red/white was missing that one as well.... but it makes sense for a 3rd bumper to be there.. but from what I've read (I think here on the forum) the SA trucks didn't have the latch release, and maybe they all had the 3rd bumper (???) I don't know, so many small differences in the years and markets... I think it was blasterservices who posted something up about it... Either way if they're available I'd be in for them..

I'm laughing at myself thinking I need a 3rd under seat bumper... Even if they're OEM, both my seats are straight as new... And no one most likely will ever ride in the back seat of either of my 55's under my ownership... One son is living outside of DC, and the other is outside Boston... the OEM mentality is a strange one...
