Why is epoxy going on at this stage? Isn't there still fab work needed to be done to the tub?

I have to give you the “why not“ as my official response .
The tub is only going into mock up next week. Still along way to go. Not sure on the remaining “fab” work.
I’m giving the yes or no answers and leaving the methodology to the guys in the booth.

Easier to clean the epoxy than risk contamination of the Al as we mock up the body. Any area that needs touched up after fitting can be done once it’s back on the rotator.
