Good information on the bolts. I did pick up the step from @tornadoalleycruiser and it mounted on one of the ribs that I moved, so we’ll have to figure out how to mount this.

i just posted this photo in another thread but here they are on the truck. They are not very flexible at all. Very different than what you posted.

The new 79 series pickup flaps over here look just like the ones on my 1994 so I know you can still get the smaller, rigid ones as well.

Well they’re not that rigid and they look a lot better than those semi-truck floppy ones.

Thanks to @12 Parsecs and @FZJ80 in KC for all the assistance sanding and scuffing the bed. That would’ve taken me weeks. But we got it done in about eight hours. Pulled the Toyota and other stickers off with a heat gun.

Got the steps ready to prime then monsta. I also applied Seam sealer to the front of the bed inside and out -- kind of wierd having exposed seam sealer, but these beds are very utilitarian. On the other exposed seams, I chopped and sanded the seams more flush.
