Thanks for the responses @scrapdaddy, @WarDamnEagle & @shmukster. Confirmed what I thought. This is my first PIG and never had a chance to look one over.

I am changing the seating configuration. We removed the rear seat bracket from each wheel well and patched the holes with metal and shaped it to the wheel wells.

You two could be private investigators!

I think I mentioned part of the plan to @shmukster when I was picking up the 76 parts. The old man has a better memory than I thought.

@bobm you're going to have to wait and see.

I'm not so sure myself if my idea will work? Anxious to find out!

I feel like we're doing some things a** backwards, so no laughing! We've already painted the exterior and now we're doing the interior. Finding that with these long projects you work in the moment. What supplies/parts do you have? How much time do you have? What's the temperature like? What do you feel like doing.

We had to tape and protect the entire vehicle for overspray to prep for the interior paint.

Think it would be easier to paint the interior first and then just mask off the window openings when spraying the exterior?

Absolutely would make the most sense. We painted the interior side walls earlier. Can't remember why we didn't do the floor? But then again, why do it it the easy way?

Okay cool. Getting closer to that point, and anything that could be done to save time and money (and sanity) would be fabulous.

Made some moves on the rear door fixed window weatherstripping. From what I can see replacement rubber is not available. Want to keep this project moving along so it's time to try something!

Noted Steele Rubber was selling similar rubber but not the right dimensions. Wasn't cheap, had to buy two sets. Figured we could use pieces of both to make one. Unfortunately the only way to do this is to splice it. The fit is tight, tried to make splices as tight as possible, added some glue, hopefully weather tight?

Best option at this point? Better than what we had. Can make changes in the future if necessary or if something better comes along.

Still have some "tweaks to finalize the fit.
