Does this allow you to use a later instrument cluster in the cross over 73 with the turn signal indicators in the speedometer face?

This is the circuit I made. It drives an oil pressure meter that fits in place of the ammeter.

Put the PTO winch gear box back together using my custom made gasket. Waiting for other parts at the zinc plater.
Somebody really likes sour cream….

I rescued a couple boxes of stuff from the never ending body shop. Maybe will get the tub in primer next week. They just don't have time to work on it. Sad part is most of this small stuff was stripped and primed. Now nicked up and covered with dust.

Some rework and progress this week.
Greased and installed the drum on the winch. Still waiting for the zinc plater to finish to get it all back together.
Installed the cast hitch (partially) and new bumperettes. Need slightly longer bolts for the hitch.
Got a start on the hatch. I wire brushed the areas with surface rust inside and out and applied rust converter. Overall, in pretty good condition for 50 years old. I got this from @kevos37 almost 2 years ago. I wish I knew it was just going to sit there and gather dust all this time.
I cleaned up and re-primed the small parts I rescued. A few still needed the old paint removed because I thought the body shop would blast them. I just cooked them in the crock pot a couple days. A lesson learned for me, do not take parts (including, doors, fenders, bib, etc.) to the body shop until the tub is done. If they take forever and you need to find another shop, you only have to move them one time. I also removed the Toyota part number decals off my new door hinges, what kind of glue do they use? That was a job.

I noticed the left side tail gate latch has this cutout, is this correct or has someone modified it?

For something rare part like the PTO shifter lock would be worth it. Some of the other parts not so much.
What is that rubber piece beneath the lock? Is from a 1/79-9/82 PTO shifter?

I have never noticed that had the hole at the top. Unfortunately that is the one for the left side. In the US those were only used on tailgates and 75/76 spare tire carriers. The right side was used on barn doors and spare tire carriers up to 1/75. Much easier to find in the US.
RHD barn doors open the opposite way and spare tire was on the opposite side. Believe this is a 74-76. Getting this with my parts in Australia. Free and tops would make make good patches for barn doors that open the opposite way.
